I would like to narrate a incident happened with one of my friend. My friend was running business in bangalore. Past 4 months there is a tight finance situation in the market and banks refuced to provide loans expand the business. To meet the commitment he has been forced to take finance from private financiers. In karnataka few private financiers charge daily 10% to 15% Interest. My friend took daily 1% interest from one of the financier. The financier name is Gopi and he is actively doing this finance business from years. They take signature on vehicle transfer forms and take blank signature on stamp papers. If there is slight delay in payment they harass the borrower verbally and physically. They harass physically, borrower sevents and their wife,children and friends to recover their money. Most of the private financiers are all followers of political leaders and they pay regular ransom to their political leaders. In basvanagudi R.V. Devraj (former congress MLA) is one of the noted goon in such category and he has trained lot of goons to control his area.It is not resstricted to R.V devraj alone there are other gangs operating in the similar line. Muttappa Rai, jedarahalli Krishna and most of the criminals circulate their money to business people and control the business circle. Finance is one way of controling the public. Police will be regularly feeded by this political leaders and any one who questions the system will be murdered in open public. My friend had very tough situation to come out from the visious circle.
